Lets go to Campanário from Funchal thought Câmara de Lobos fishing village, where the Banana fields, and agricultural terraces that we will cross constantly on our way to Ponta de Sol make us respect and admire all the ones who still farm on this land, all the vegetables and tropical fruits, as the passion fruits, papaya, avocado etc.

We are going to travel through the old roads, close to the amazing southwestern cliffs until we start climbing from sea level to about 1500m on Paul da Serra were the wildlife co-habit with cattle grazing quietly. We will take the opportunity to stroll on we will walk on a section of a Levada for about 30 min (optional) to after crossing the middle of the island from the west top on the plateau Paul da Serra all the way to Porto Moniz! Its here we are going to stop for lunch and for those who would like to refresh take a swim in the natural volcanic swimming pools of Porto Moniz. With energies restored, we will in the afternoon come back, not by the same roads on the mountain, but crossing all the north coast villages, as Seixal and Ribeira da Janela islets, by the beautiful waterfalls who drop from this dazzling cliffs all the way to the sea, finishing up with the perfect ending, our famous freshly homemade Poncha drink !
