Unlike most standard tours, this small-group adventure (max 8 hikers) combines levada paths and old forest trails, giving you access to waterfalls, , and secluded corners of the Laurisilva forest, in a more complete coverage of the area than the regular tours. thats why This 16 km challenging hike takes approximately 5.5 hours, offering a mix of scenic trails, tunnels, climbs, and breathtaking viewpoints. From the iconic 25 Fountains to the majestic Risco Waterfall, Lagoa do Vento, and Poça da Dona Beja, every step immerses you in Madeira’s natural beauty.

Unlike the standard 25 Fountains hikes offered by larger companies, our Waterfalls Valley Levada Walk explores alternative trails, taking you off the beaten track to discover with a small group, you’ll enjoy a personalized, premium hiking experience,

This is a mixed trail walk, combining traditional forest trails with levadas. Please ensure you are comfortable with vertigo, tunnels, and steep climbs. Appropriate footwear, warm clothing, and a packed snack or picnic are essential. Extra equipment, like walking sticks, can be provided upon request.

With this hike, we aim to offer a different, more complete, and unforgettable way to experience Madeira’s magic Laurisilva Forest — avoiding crowds, safe, comfortable, and  rewarding.
