Shore Excursion – Full Day – Explore Madeira by Van 8 pax

On this Full day shore excursion van tour we can Explore the NorthEast we will cruise with you trough the town before we leave all the way up from sea level to 1818 mt high, stopping whenever a good photo opportunity arises, In Pico do Arieiro will stay as long as you wish, for a short walk (optional) on the mountain slope, just before we begin our descent trough Ribeiro Frio to more conventional altitudes and reach Santana, where there are the traditional houses from this area of island thatched- triangle shaped , and even visit a genuine one with 240 years before we return! We could include a good local meal or something lighter and return through the coastal villages of the northeast coast, So on this day you will get island mountain in morning, sea in the afternoon 😉

Or we can explore on a fullday the NorthWest were will cruise with you trough the town before we leave all the way out to Câmara de lobos Area, going to Ponta do sol Along the way we will pass trough the many vineyards who produce the Madeira wine, banana fields, and sugarcane for the local RUM!  Will go trough São Vicente and many north waterfalls, heading to Porto Moniz where you are able to swim in the natural swimming pools on the photos or a natural black sand beach for the experience. (its optional but if you want to do it don’t forget your swimming gear!

​We have a minimum 4 persons, but ask us if we have already a tour for you to join! We can pick up on the port of Funchal, just outside your ship, and as this is a 6/7 hour trip for ships that stay a bit longer, on our comfortable 8 seater van we can cover more km and see more!
